Inventors of Flight began its life as the brainchild of multi-instrumentalist Adam Cox. After graduating from college with a degree in music, he found that working in the world of school bands and classical music wasn’t satisfying his desire for a musical outlet he could truly call his own. He then began to write and record his own songs and set out on the long journey of finding his unique musical voice.

What that voice has become is something that might be described as dynamic, expansive and melodic. It’s music that is straightforward and accessible, yet contains subtle points of interest that come from a schooled musical ear. It’s a style that’s rooted in rock, yet isn’t afraid to flirt with classical ideas and electronic sounds. And it’s lyrics that are relatable, yet thoughtful and poetic.
